[VLC OPERATIONS] CONTROL OF DYEING WASTE WATER USING A DEDICATED SPLIT-FLOW SOLUTION

Dyeing wastewater not only has high color intensity but also contains many non‑biodegradable compounds, requiring the treatment system to be designed according to the waste characteristics. At Songwol Vina Joint Stock Company (Tây Ninh), Van Lang Environmental Company has deployed a split‑flow treatment solution that controls each pollution characteristic, rather than treating everything together as in traditional models.

The system has a total capacity Q = 2,500 m³/night, with the wastewater stream divided into two separate flows: a light stream with Q = 2,400 m³/night and a PVA stream with Q = 100 m³/night. This approach targets the "pollution focus," reduces the load on downstream stages, and improves overall efficiency.

The project's distinction lies in its controlled treatment chain. The PVA stream is treated separately by a Fenton reaction to break down the stable compounds before being merged back into the common system. The downstream polishing steps further "polish" the water quality, ensuring tight control of color and that all discharge parameters meet QCVN 40:2025/BTNMT – Column B before release, complying with environmental regulations for the dyeing sector.

Beyond treatment efficiency, the project also emphasizes practical operability. The system includes intermediate tanks, conditioning units, and a closed‑loop sludge handling line, maintaining long‑term stability, minimizing risk, and optimizing operational costs for the enterprise.

For Van Lang, each project is not only a technical solution but also a system designed for sustainable operation in line with the company's production reality.
